Picking Up Bread
By purchasing bread on this web site, you are making the commitment to pick up your order at your designated pick up location. Please remember to pick-up your order. If you find you are unable to pick it up, coordinate with a friend or family member to pick it up for you. Each location has been very gracious to let us use their store as a distribution point for us, so it is up to us to treat them with the most respect by not leaving them with a burden of unclaimed bread. Besides, you already paid for it! Each store is laid out a little differently, but there will always be a check-list and a bag with your name on it. When you pick-up your bread, be sure to cross your name off the list.
Missing Your Pick-Up
If you missed your pick-up, please email us to let us know that you forgot and when you plan to pick it up. We will then forward that email to your location if necessary. No credit is able to be given for bread that is not picked up. If you pick up at the bakehouse, we will usually freeze your unclaimed bread and try to coordinate with you a time to pick up. At other locations, there is no guarantee that your bread will still be there after a couple days.
Paper or Plastic?
You have an option here. If you have a preference as to whether you would like your bread bagged in paper or plastic, let us know and we will save your preference!
Cancellations / Refunds
If you placed an order with us and you need to cancel it, just let us know by emailing us. We will work with each situation on a case by case basis to figure out how best to get the money back to you.
Our most efficient method of communication is usually email. Our address is firstname.lastname@example.org and you should usually always receive a response the same business day. If you need a more urgent method of communication, you can reach us at 717-796-9696.
Alternative Payment Accounts
These accounts are created for those who prefer to not pay electronically (cash, check, or maintain store credit). The Alternative Payment Account information that we store includes your email address, name, account balance, and previous transactions. We do not store any financial information.
For more information on Alternative Payment Accounts click here.
A check returned for insufficient funds will deactivate an Alternative Payment Account. When this happens, the customer will received two electronic invoices which will be used to (1) Pay the amount the check was intended for, and (2) pay the bank fee which McGrath's Bakehouse has been charged for the returned check ($20). Once the second invoice is paid, the Alternative Payment Account will be reinstated. Until then, other payment methods would be required.
We will not sell or distribute any information which you entrust us with.
If you are not 100% satisfied with our breads or other baked goods, please let us know. It is our desire to make the the highest quality product available on the market. Every situation is different, so on a case-by-case basis, we promise to make it right.
