Butternut Butter Bread

1.5 lb. loafThis is the first bread we have made with an enriched dough. We put softened butter right in with the flour and water. Squash generally makes bread softer and butter had the same effect, making this loaf so soft that it is hard to believe this is sourdough bread at all!
Ingredients: Organic sifted wheat flour, homegrown roasted butternut squash, organic whole wheat flour, sourdough culture, organic butter, organic rye flour, RealSalt®, organic malted barley flour
*all breads contain some rice flour on the crust from dusting boards and baskets, and possibly olive oil from brushing dough boxes.
